EDC Suite PRO

API Use Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This API Use Policy ("Policy") applies to any use of the EDC Suite PRO application programming interfaces, endpoints and programmatic integrations (the "API") provided by FWP Racing Solutions. The Policy supplements, and is part of, our Terms & Conditions. By accessing the API you agree to this Policy.

1. Access and credentials

Access to the API may require an active account, a valid subscription and API credentials or keys. API keys are personal to your account and must be kept secret. You are responsible for all activity performed with your credentials. Do not embed keys in publicly distributed client-side code or public repositories.

2. Permitted use

You may use the API only to build integrations that support your own legitimate use of the Service, such as automating project creation, uploading and retrieving calibration files, and managing your own data. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

3. Prohibited use

You must not use the API to:

  • exceed, bypass or obscure rate limits, credit limits or plan quotas;
  • scrape, mirror or bulk-download data belonging to other users or to us;
  • build a product that substantially replicates or competes with the Service using our data;
  • transmit malware, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation;
  • process calibration or vehicle data you do not have the right to use; or
  • use the API in any way that could damage, disable or impair the Service.

4. Rate limits and fair use

We may apply rate limits, quotas and throttling to protect the stability of the Service. Limits may depend on your plan and can change over time. If your usage places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, we may throttle, suspend or contact you to discuss a suitable plan. You should design your integration to back off gracefully when it receives rate-limit or error responses.

5. Data, security and retention

Data exchanged through the API is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You must transmit requests over secure connections, store any retrieved data securely, and delete it when no longer needed. You are responsible for the security of systems that hold data obtained through the API.

6. Changes to the API

The API is evolving. We may add, change, deprecate or remove endpoints, parameters and behaviours. Where reasonably practicable we will provide advance notice of breaking changes, but we cannot guarantee backward compatibility. You are responsible for keeping your integration up to date.

7. No warranty and availability

The API is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that responses will always be accurate. The limitation of liability set out in our Terms & Conditions applies to your use of the API.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or revoke API access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe your use breaches this Policy, threatens the security or integrity of the Service, or is used unlawfully.

9. Contact

For API access requests, higher limits or questions about this Policy, contact support@edc-suite.net.
